VmSS Recruiters (VR), are responsible for finding, attracting, and selecting qualified people to fill job vacancies within your organization. Duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the organization's size, industry, and recruitment needs. Ultimately, our efforts contribute
to build a skilled and motivated workforce that can drive the organization's success.
Our Recruiters work with hiring managers and department heads to understand the skills, qualifications, and experience needed for specific job openings. They create detailed job descriptions and specifications based on this analysis.
Use various methods to find potential candidates, including job boards, social media, professional networking sites, and employee referrals. They may also attend job fairs, industry events, and conferences to identify suitable candidates. Also build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, creating a talent pool for future job openings.
Review resumes, cover letters, and job applications to assess whether candidates meet the minimum qualifications and requirements for the job. They may use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline this process.
Conduct initial phone or video interviews with candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization. They may also coordinate and schedule in-person interviews with hiring managers or interview panels.
Administer skills tests, assessments, or other evaluations to gauge a candidate's suitability for the position. This is especially common for technical or specialized roles.
Contact references provided by candidates to verify their work history, skills, and qualifications.
Involved in negotiating salary and compensation packages with candidates, ensuring that both the candidate's expectations and the organization's budget are considered.
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, providing a summary of each candidate's qualifications and suitability for the job.
Manage the logistics of the interview process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating travel for candidates (if necessary), and ensuring that all parties involved have the information they need.
Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate final terms, and facilitate the offer acceptance process.
Responsible for aspects of the onboarding process, such as completing necessary paperwork, facilitating orientation, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Ensure that recruitment practices comply with labor laws and regulations. They may also play a role in promoting diversity and inclusion by actively seeking out candidates from diverse backgrounds.
